Money has energy attached to it. And often the feelings we attach to our dollars are a direct reflection of how we perceive our own lives.
If you believe that money is the root of all evil, that clouds how you view your relationship with financial exchanges. On the other hand, if you believe that money is a tool to ascribe value and express appreciation, that is also likely apparent in your dealings.
For the former belief, you may have many negative experiences with money, and all transactions feel antagonistic. This is a hard mindset to break free from and is rooted in scarcity thinking. You are not at fault for these experiences, but you’ll probably find that if you change your outlook just a little, things seem less grim.
When you view money as a tool to experience the world—something you can use to build wealth and create value—your experiences seem more positive. What if you thought of money as happy money, giving money, or grateful money?
Healing your relationship isn’t easy and doesn’t happen overnight. However, you are capable of healing how you view and experience money. If you begin to view it as a tool and a blessing and learn to use it as such, you can have a massive transformation in your life.
